Matthew joined Wren Sterling in March 2021 and has over 25 years’ experience in financial
services, the majority of which has been spent working for Private Investment Banks and Wealth
He has spent the majority of his career within the high net worth and wealth management arena,
advising both personal and corporate clients on pension planning, investments, inheritance tax
planning, trusts, long-term care, and other specialist areas of their finances.
Matthew holds a number of specialist qualifications, including CF8 Long Term Care, ER1 Equity
Release and is SOLLA accredited through the Society of Later Life Advisers. In addition to this, he
also holds the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and CEMAP mortgage qualification through
He provides bespoke face-to-face financial advice on a wide range of financial planning matters
with clients and their families, tailoring a clear financial plan to meet their individual goals. Client
needs are reviewed and updated regularly, ensuring their goals and aspirations remain on track
and are achievable.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family and has a keen interest in country
pursuits, working closely with the local community.
