Mark Torrado

Mark is chartered and specialises in complex financial planning for clients at retirement by taking complex financial needs and making this simple and easy for clients to understand. Mark believes in educating his clients understand so that they can understand the ‘whys’ behind his recommendations, his process and value of financial advice.

Mark has been recognised by Citywire’s New Model Adviser as a rising star in the Financial Advice industry and was included in their Top 35 Next Gen Adviser list for 2025. Derek Dunbar, Wren Sterling’s Regional Manager in Scotland is his line manager and recruited Mark several years ago:

Mark completed his journey to become a Chartered Financial Planner, having also qualified for equity release, and pension transfers. He is active in promoting apprenticeship programmes and attends events as a speaker in his own time to share his experience.

Mark is from a Portuguese family, speaks Portuguese and enjoys visiting Portugal. He is very family orientated, and enjoys spending time with friends and family and keeping fit.
