How Wren Sterling clients benefit from a holistic, comprehensive service proposition

Cara Bland

We recognise a financial decision rarely exists in isolation, which is why we have built a proposition that has your financial plan at the centre, alongside the most common financial planning services, and a suite of additional services that complements what we do.

We also know financial decisions can impact the whole family, this is why we build financial plans with the whole family in mind. Our family linking approach enables us to view all of your family assets in one place and recommend a holistic approach that draws on the most relevant parts of our service.

What you receive as a Wren Sterling Client

If you are a client who receives our Ongoing Advice Service, you gain access to our experienced Financial Planners and Mortgage Advisers, and carefully selected specialist partners who support our clients in areas we’re not licensed to advise in.

This includes:

  • Cash management and enhanced savings solutions
  • Tax planning and accountancy
  • Legal services, trusts and inheritance tax planning
  • Residential, commercial and business lending
  • Equity release and specialist mortgage solutions
  • Relationship-first banking solutions
  • Protection and life insurance planning
  • Specialist insurance solutions
  • Personalised banking and foreign exchange services
  • Trust administration and trustee banking solutions
  • Tax-efficient investments, including VCT and EIS opportunities

Your Financial Planner can coordinate and introduce these services as part of your wider financial plan, ensuring every aspect of your wealth, family and business interests work together to help you achieve your goals.

Depending on your Service Level, some of these services may be covered by your Ongoing Advice Charge, while others may be at additional cost. Any costs will be fully disclosed to you prior to any work taking place.

How it works

As an example, many of our clients are business owners or company directors, which means they also require additional tax and accountancy support, as well as business insurance, business banking and lending.

Yet, without a joined-up approach, these clients could find themselves working with multiple advisers, providers and professionals, all working independently of one another.

Our proposition simplifies this and gives you access to the expertise you need throughout your financial journey, whilst maintaining a single trusted relationship with your Wren Sterling Financial Planner.

Your Financial Planner understands your circumstances, goals and wider financial position, helping ensure that important decisions are considered in the context of your overall plan rather than in isolation.

We’ve brought all of this together, through a combination of in-house expertise and carefully selected specialist partners. Our Financial Planners can coordinate and introduce you to our experienced partners, who cover:

  • Investment management
  • Mortgages and lending
  • Tax planning and accountancy support
  • Estate and inheritance planning
  • Protection and insurance
  • Cash management and banking solutions
  • Trust services
  • Specialist investment opportunities

We often support you by attending joint meetings with our partners to ensure the recommended solutions align to your plan.
