Through successful partnerships with Building Societies, we deliver independent financial advice to their customers. For corporate clients we provide advice on engaging employees through the provision of group risk, protection, and other employee benefit solutions.
Qualifications
Essential:
- GSCE’s or equivalent (including Maths and English).
Desirable:
- Demonstratable experience and success in an FCA regulated business, ideally Independent Finance Advice (IFA) firms (but not essential). A demonstratable deep understanding of the financial advice sector and the regulatory framework within which a regulated advice business operates.
Role Outline
To assist in the implementation, analysis and updating of Wren Sterling’s client proposition, monitor emerging market trends in the financial advice sector and providing market commentary to the Proposition Specialist and wider business, to ensure our client proposition remains market leading.
The job holder will also be responsible for monitoring and analysing client & proposition data, client feedback, and internal feedback, to ensure our proposition continues to meet the demands and needs of our growing client book.
The job holder will be responsible for analysing data and interpreting / summarising it to help the Proposition team make decisions and support with strategic projects.
Collaborating with other members of the Wren Sterling team to ensure data is up to date and accurate.
Principle Objectives and Responsibilities
To include the following, but not exclusive to:
- Analyse and monitor market trends, including keeping up to date with competitor movements and providing recommendations for developments / changes required by Wren Sterling to meet emerging trends, including the appropriate adoption of technology developments.
- Provide a weekly summary of Market Movements and identify any impact to the Wren Proposition.
- Maintain Proposition documentation and ensuring it is updated with required enhancements / changes.
- Monitor and analyse proposition, client, and internal feedback. Provide a summary to the Proposition
Specialist and Head of Proposition. - Support with updating Governance packs for our Building Societies and Partnerships, to ensure we provide up to date information.
- Ensure proposition developments and ongoing Governance meets regulatory requirements.
- Participate and support with project data, running the data from Snowflake and checking this is correct, to ensure we have the required data needed for the project.
- Manage client mail merges, to ensure we communicate effectively with our clients.
- Contribute to the development of the wider business through contribution and problem solving within the Proposition Team.
- Conduct all work in a manner consistent with compliance procedures.
- Ensure health and safety policies are observed and followed.
- Completion of other reasonable duties, as defined by the Management Team.
Knowledge Required
- A desirable understanding and experience of a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of competitors and there unique selling points.
- Knowledge on how to use AI effectively to analysis trends and use it to work efficiently
- Knowledge of how to use Excel to interpret, analysis and create summaries e.g. through a Pivot table
Skills Required
Essential skills:
- IT literate, including all Microsoft programmes, especially Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel to a moderate level and using this to analyse data, you will be required to create Pivot Tables, Dashboards and summarise data
- Moderate use of AI, know how to use it to effectively manage workload and analysis market insight
- An awareness of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Ability to analyse, interpret, and develop materials to support the communication of complex information in a client friendly fashion using written and visual presentations.
- Confidence to deal effectively with providers and colleagues.
- Proactive approach and ability to prioritise workload.
