Wren Sterling has announced the appointment of St James’s Place Partnership Support Director, Chris Faerber, as its Sales Director.
The position is a new role and will make Faerber responsible for Wren Sterling’s sales channels, which had been reporting into CEO Ian Halley and CCO, Paul Chafer, on an interim basis.
Faerber has a long history in financial services. His last nine years have been at St James’s Place where he held director-level roles and most recently was responsible for supporting SJP’s partner businesses to grow. Prior to that he held positions at Barclays Financial Planning and Halifax Financial Planning.
Ian Halley said; “As we adapt to the new environment we now operate in, Chris’s business development knowledge will help us grow our routes to market and reinforce relationships with our clients.
His arrival will also allow us to intensify our focus on growing the business organically and through the selective acquisition of advice firms, cementing Wren Sterling’s position as a leading provider of advice to individual clients along with members of corporate pension schemes.”
Chris Faerber added: “I am delighted to have been asked to lead the sales channels at Wren Sterling. What excites me about this business is the leadership, strength and focus of the team. I am really looking forward to rolling my sleeves up and helping the business develop, grow and provide exceptional client advice & service.”
